Biodiversity Update

Following on from Woodlands Academy receiving funding from the National Education Nature Park Programme, Phase Two of the project has commenced.
The pupils are busy creating the next set of raised beds – a beautiful circular bed has been completed, which is planned to house a fruit tree. One of the new L-shaped seating beds has been started.
Again, this has been a whole school approach, with each year group contributing to the build. The pupils are so engaged with many of them volunteering to come after eating their lunch and work through their break.
