Pupils take part in Spilsby Light Night
Spilsby Light Night took place on Saturday, 17th February and illuminated the town.
The highlights this year included art installations, captivating acts, a fairy light parade, interactive music, and community engagement.
Lumo Workshop artists, Lou Jones and Nadya Monfrinoli, have been working with pupils from Woodlands Academy. A mix of Photography and Art pupils worked with Lou and Nadya creating short animations that link to the theme ‘murmuration’. These were then made into an interactive digital projection installation which was projected onto a large cube and displayed inside Franklin Hall during the event.
The pupils thoroughly enjoyed the experience from start to finish, fully engaging in the process and producing some awe-inspiring images. Well done to them all!
