Student visit to Tong Engineering

Woodlands Year 10 and Year 11 engineering students have enjoyed a visit to local Spilsby company Tong Engineering Ltd.

They learnt a lot about the company including how they make farming machinery that is distributed all around the world.

Year 10 were looking at design briefs in engineering and could see how they were used at Tong Engineering Ltd. Year 11 were shown what could be possible for a unique and exciting job when they finish GCSE’s soon.

All the students, TA’s and Mr Norbron (Head of Engineering at Woodlands Academy) would like to thank Tong Engineering for this amazing experience and we look forward to our next visit.
